Zire 71 vs. Clie sj 33??

I have a Mac. From your experiences, which is better? Advantages, disadvantages of one over the other??

Well screen on zire is crisper more colorful and brighter than on sj33. I know because i was considering sj33 for some time but than heard about zire and went for it. And i think that processor speed is greater on zire. The thing is sj33 is now $249.99 and zire71 is $299.99 so if you want something cheaper go for sj33 but even for $50 more I think that zire is a better choice and you're getting a camera with it witch is realy great.

The SJ-33 is just a remodled T665c with a bigger battery. For the same price go for the Z71. Why? Better color, smaller, lighter, camera, os5.2 (all the cool software will be for os5 and up), cpu speed 144 Vs 66, energy efficient screen and cpu, brighter screen (my Z71 @ 50% brightness is far brighter than my old T665c @ 100%), better sound. That's to name a few reasons. Main reason why I wont go back to Sony is they use their own sound API's. Which means any software written for a Palm that has sound will not run on a Sony unless they include it or include a separate prc file, not many companies do that. Palm has more accessories than Sony. SD cards are cheaper than MSPro, about the same as MSticks. If you like videos to watch on your handheld and you get the Sony, your stuck with just Kinoma. Get the Palm and you can use Kinoma, Teal, and MMPlayer. That's all I can think of right now. Hope it helped.

I'd like to add that the Z71 has a younger battery since it's a much newer model. So it should give you more months of service.

Many PDA buyers overlook or ignore the fact that lithium batteries last only for 2-3 years from date of manufacture. An old model that has been in display or storage for six months will mean that much time substracted from the unit's lifespan - unless you can get a replacement battery when the original conks out.

I was speaking of the Zire 71 in relation to the T665C.
