Can anybody access the following website (using Opera 5.14) from their netbook?

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/planmyjourney

Iused to be able to before they redesigned the site, but now everytime I try to go to the site, Opera immediately crashes with a KERN-EXEC-3 error.

Anybody got an alternative site that can be used to check British train timetables? Or is there a fix in Opera that will stop Opera from crashing?

Thanks,
David.

You will also find that the real time running pages on the National Rail site will not work on Opera. IIRC this is due to the links using Java(script?), and using some Msoft junk.

Luckily a couple of enterprising souls have created their own web pages that act as front pages into the train runing database. These pages also give you a much greater choice of stations. Point your browsers at :-

If Psion Teklogix had any marketing skill whatosoever, they would be selling a "Netbook in a Box" solution with WiFi for small stations. Netbook would just be displaying the live departure screens for the station(s) concerned. Much better solution than the plague of Msoft junk you see displayed at many stations. And even better than the total lack of information whatsoever at the vast majority of stations.
