Hi,
Like my query about SafePlace this isn't very important, just a minor niggle.
I'd like to get the Spellchecker for my 3a. The only reference to it (not the front-end, that isn't what I want) seems to be that it was on the Siena's accompanying disc. As it may be some months before I get a 3c/mx I'd like to download it now.
Can I?

The Series 3 family of machines was not supplied with PsiWin software, it had to be purchased separately so there is no "Siena" disk as such. Are you perhaps thinking of the Revo which does have Spell files on its CD?
There was a spellchecker for early Series 3a's (256k and 512k) on SSD which was superseded by the onboard application in the later 1Meg and 2Meg 3a's.

Hi,
I read on a website that the Siena (later ones?) had the spellchecker on an accompanying CD or disc. I certainly don't have the relevant SSD and I don't know where the files might be on the Web.
As I said, this is a minor niggle but I had (wrongly  ) assumed that the front end included the actual spellchecker. I will get another 3(a/c/mx) series, probably a 3(c/mx) but certainly a 2 MB machine, as soon as I can reasonably afford it but it would be nice to download the relevant files now and transfer them to my 3a.
But I assume there is no actual hope - pity.
