connect to compuserve

Hello,

Does anyone know how I can connect my mobilon to Compuserve for web browsing? They (compuserve) told me that win ce is not supported.

You CAN use CompuServe, but it must be a "CompuServe Classic" account. NOT a "CompuServe 2000" account (which is AOL in another skin). CompuServe Customer Support might tell you the Classic accounts are "no longer available". This is only a standard reply they are told to give. You must insist on opening a Classic account due to "hardware incompatibilities". If they don't cooperate ask to speak to a supervisor. It can be done but you must be stubborn. The one problem is that unlike a Windows PC, Windows CE must log onto the CompuServe network manually. That is, you must manually perform a bit of data entry during the log-in process to verify your user name and password. It's not automatic, but it's not difficult and only takes an extra 60 seconds. If you decide to use a CompuServe Classic connection post a request for the proper "log-in script". Good luck!
