Ultra Thin Keyboard

Has anyone had difficulty using this palm kb with the T|C?

I purchased one on eBay - and most of the keys would not work

Palm replaced it and I tested it - fine. Now on my second use same thing!!! Have the latest drivers from palm site.

Some keys either don't work or the character is entered multiple times.

Anyone else having this issue?

I don't own a portable keyboard for the Tungsten|C but I've read in a previous posting that there is a conflict between the driver for the thumbpad keypad on the T|C and the driver for the ultra-thin keyboard (it affects the regular stowaway keyboard as well to my knowledge). This is what is causing the strange behaviour.

I do not believe that Palm has released a fix yet.

I spoke with Palm tech support. They are sending me another keyboard. There is a "revised" keyboard - supposedly has a "Rev C" sticker on the rear of the unit near the serial number.

They told me that the problem is with the speed of data transmission from the keyboard to the handheld. Some sort of conflict - they said the revised keyboard came out two weeks ago but they woul not elaborate more on the issue.
