I am the new proud owner of the e310 and have only recently encountered the first problem(s). The top left lamp is blinking orange (started yesterday) and now, for some reason, I cannot open outlook.

It appears that it is synchronizing properly. Is there anyone that might now what I have to do?

thanks

Steve,

I had the same problem. Went to Toshiba tech support & through their chat line they had me to "HARD RESET" on the PDA.
My light blinked for 3 days, it would go off with soft reset, but come back when i syncd to either PC or laptop. I believe it is caused by a sync problem, but tech supp couldn't nail it down.
i believe mine was caused when a friend with a palm beamed me a couple of contact from his palm VX. Data may be incompatible.
The 'hard reset' instructions are at the back of the owners manual page 9-3. you will lose EVERYTHING - just like you first opened it, so do a backup first (but that may keep the corrupt data). I just gave it all up. Thankfully, like you, i didn't have mine long so there's wasnt' much to lose.
My friend now bought his own e310 so we can beam anything!!

Best of luck,
Jerry

For the blinking led it could be an option set under sound & notifications... notifications. you can set the led to blink on various actions... one being on connecting with activesync.
