Caching credentials on web pages

I just got a new iPAQ 3970 from work with internet access and I am having this annoying problem. I know that pocket ie supports cookies, but at sites like mobile.msn.com and mobile.yahoo.com, I have to reenter my username and passwd everytime I close the browser. Shouldn't this information be saved along with the cookie? It's just annoying to walk down the street and have to reenter my looong hotmail username every time I want to check my mail. Thanks for the replies, I hope I am not the only one having this problem.

That situation is really MSN's fault. Well it's not really a fault more of a security precaution. Just like on a desktop computer hotmail still prompts you for a password every time you open it.
