Hi,
I've had the 5450 for nearly 6 months now. I've been surfing wirelessly for the same time. I have connected to my home AP (Linksys) and a lot of coffee houses and airport lounges too.
Took me a while to figure it out but got there in the end..
Today, I tried to pass through my notebook(USB) at work to surf with the IPAQ-big mistake?! I didn't manage to do it, even after changing the 'Connection settings' (which incidently confuse the f%^* out o me :))

Nightmare! -Got home and I can no longer connect to my home settings?????? I've tried most things, soft reset, switching on the WLAN, changing the connection settings to suit but still get nothing. I seem to get 100% signal strength but it will not register the AP SSID? The green light is not flashing either?
When I view the status it says 'initialising' and then 'WLAN is switched off'??

HELP PLEASE

I had same problem with same model. Had to Hard Reset. If you try it, make sure you sync and do a full backup. Then do a hard reset. Leave it in GUEST mode and do a restore. I did it and didn't lose any info. Wireless has been working ever since.

thanks for the feedback, however...

I carried out a full backup before the intention of hard reseting, then I decided to remove the battery and soft reset.
Don't know why it worked but it did!

Meant I didn't have to go through the hassles of restoring.

Thanks
