I would like to know whether a screen protector such as the one made by Fellowes is worth the money? Does it change the sensitivity of the input area?

Does it dull the color too much?

Any recommendations on which screen protector to buy.

Thanks

I use them. They last quite a long time. I think I've changed once since May.

Do they dull the color -- a little bit. Sensitivity does not seem to be hurt at all.

I guess I'd probably recommend that you use them. Certainly the protectors get scratched, so the screen probably would as well. (This might also depend on the stylus that you use.)

I highly recommend the G2 screen protector over the fellows. You can get them at www.pdascreenprotectors.com

They are so clear that they don't distort or diminish the colors. In fact once their on, you won't even notice them. They are also scratch resistant and last a very long time. Screen sensitivity is also not diminished.

I use the Fellowes variety and am very satisfied. I think the price of the G2's is rather stiff in comparison; but I have not had chance to try them out.

I second the nomination for G2's. Have used them for years. OUTSTANDING support, great product. Only complaint is they are a Pain in the Posterior to install. But, once installed they don't bubble or distort or affect screen sensitivity.

I luv em.

ps I think you get two for 11.95 and they are lots more durable than the stick on type.

Peace

There is NO doubt in my mind that G2s are the best and I have tried 3 different brands, I used one G2 for over a year on my HandSpring and IT WAS GREAT IN EVERY WAY, BUT when I bought one for my Tungsten T2 there is some question about the specs and size since there was no mention of it the order form. Palm says that the Tungsten T is exactly the same screen size as the T2, but the screen DID NOT fit! I have installed about 5 in other PDAs and installation is not too bad if you do it in a steamy site, but be certain the size is correct or you will just have wasted $15 like I did. They do have good support, but if you get a new edge product make sure the company has the right size.
