How can I read Pdf files on the 5Mx?

...erm, with Pdf! ;)

It's an excellent Adobe Portable Document Format file viewer, available from www.mBrainSoftware.com. It comes in two flavours; 'plain' Pdf which is freeware and Pdf+ which has added functionality, including printing.

Both highly recommended. It's also possible to produce your own pdf files on your Psion, using the separate Pdf Printer app. :)
