Which one is better? I already have the stowaway for my "classic" S300, and for feel and comfort, its pretty good. Unfortunately, its REALLY fragile, and I've already changed my keayboard twice, and, at present, some of the keys are not responding again. grrr.
Now, I'm finally upgrading to a T665C, which I plan to get in the states in a couple of weeks. (To my dismay, CLIE's have merely a cult following in the Philippines, thus, limited in availability.) Now, a keyboard is ESSENTIAL to me, as I use it in law school. I guess I can take my chances with the old standby (stowaway) but I'd like some second opinions regarding the belkin. I've limited my other choice to that, because I positively HATE changing batteries in ANYTHING. Any Belkin users out there?
Wang,
I got my Belkin keyboard about a month ago. Works well though I can't compare it with the stowaway since I never owned one.
My only gripe with the Belkin is that the right shift key is too far to the right. I tend to hit the arrow up key when typing quickly.
Good luck

Having owned a Stowaway keyboard for my older Clie' 670 (the purple one) and now having upgraded to the T665 with a Belkin I have to say that I am more happy with the Belkin Keyboard.
The main selling point on the Belkin is that if the battery level gets low you don't have to stop what you're doing and charge the PDA, just plug the charger into the side of the keyboard and keep right on workin. For me this is a big deal since I just my PDA like a laptop. The keyboard and pda combo is great for word processing, etc.
Also I like the fact that you do not have to worry about the Belkin flexing if you have to lift the unit. It is sturdy enough to handle it. The keys also just have a more natural feel to it.
I have used the Stowaway, the Belkin and even tried the logitech wireless keyboard for this unit, and I have to say that the Belkin is long on features and lower on price.

How did you get the Belkin G700 to install? I'm trying to install one now and the application software loads fine, but when I get to the "Install the Drivers" section, after you choose the "on" or "off," it prompts to use the Status pull down menu to enable or disable the keyboard. I can't find a pull down menu, and the picture in the instructions does not show a pull down in the Status area. I can't find any way to enable the keyboard.
Thanks.

The keyboard sold by Sony is the same as the Stowaway - they just rebrand it. I loved the one I had for my Palm III, but now I'm wishing the makers of GoType would come out with one for the Clie T-series. The folding keyboard is great for typing, but I liked the speed of setting up the GoType - just flip up the cover and attach your machine.

Are you certain the Belkin is better? It didn't get good reviews at http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/belkin-g7-keyboard-review.html
But some replies there defended it pretty good. I need a keyboard and the more I check into it, the less sure of which I should get.
If the Sony is flimsy and breaks easily, that pretty much eliminates it. If the Belkin down't even work, that eliminates it...
Can we have more opinions here?
I'm leaning towards Belkin.

Has anyone heard anything about a Stowaway XT keyboard for the T665C?
Are the Stowaway and Belkin the only Key boards available fro the T665C?
Thanks,
Bruce
