Can anyone help.
I currently have OS 4.1 and now am waiting for my NX70v/UH to be shipped. My old unit is going to my wife and I wanted to know that after I install 5.0 will I still be able to hotsync the old unit running OS 4.1 ?
Can you help?

Yes! My wife has a T-615(OS4) and I have the NX70. I can sync both of them at any time. The only problem I have run into is this: I have XP Pro on my PC and my wife and I each have a user account. I like my BMW background and she likes her flowery desktop! Anyway, if both users are logged on at the same time, and one of us tries to Hotsync, the PC will reboot. If you don't have XP and don't have user accounts, I suspect you won't have to worry about this. But to answer your question, it is entirely possible to sync two different PDAs with a different OS on the same PC. Good luck!

Thank for responding and answering my question, I run ME so I won't have the same concerns as you do with user logins. Different note though, I seen to be seeing alot of different problems, or absticles talked about on the windows XP OS. People knock me for still running ME but I can't complain it works good for what I do. Is XP all it's cracked up to be or is it a pain to use.

XP is truly a great OS. It's not without it's flaws(none of Microsoft's products are). The main reason I get the error, is the fact that I'm using the same cradle to Hotsync both of the PDAs. I just don't have enough desk space for 2 cradles hanging around. XP really does a good job of being an OS. Very user friendly and easy to network. If you have the money, I'd definitely upgrade!

I plan to get a second PC so it's sure to have XP installed on it and like all my other upgrades I will learn to love the new OS.
thanks for replying
