beta driver for CF memory?

I have heard there is a beta drive so I can use compact flash as memory. anyone seen it?

where did you hear this? i doubt anyone has a beta driver for the CF yet and if they do i doubt they are distributing it for use.

it was not written by sony that was for sure. It was on one of the usenet groups. but at the tiem i was not interested in the sony.

According to my wife who just downloaded the Sony CLIE SDK, CF bus support is not in there... If sony doesn't give the API's in their SDK, don't expect CF drivers to show up any time soon. It is a beta, so in the final version, we might see it. If not, we'll have to wait until someone reverse engineers it.... and that'll take a while.

now that I ahve a 128 meg ms card it is not as big of a deal. but it would be nice to be able to view and copy my pics off the cf card so I can leave it at work.
