I had a Sony Clie PEG-N760C (will probably sell it if anyone's interested) and upgraded this week to the PEG-NX70V/U. I am not a particularly technically oriented person and so I have found it MUCH easier to use than my old one. The sound quality is excellent. The pictures are not as good as my digital camera takes, but are decent. It's fun to sneak around and take movies with it. I've got it full of e-books for an airplane trip this week, along with some Christmas tunes, Monopoly, and Scrabble -- it's like having a room full of toys in a little package. Lots of fun, well worth the (ahem) large price. I LOVE IT!!! There is no PDA that does as much as this one. It's worth 6 Palm-whatever-you-call-those-pilot thingies.

Now, if I can just find a good leather case for it. I have a Vaja for my old one. Looked at the Vaja custom case for this one and I don't care for it. Would rather have a slip case, I think with a Velcro or snap or magnetic closure. I can't find one I like, so I am using a Targa case that's a wee bit too short.

I've tried them all, including Coach, and all my PDAs and a couple of cell phones have ended up being protected by EB leather cases. Their "Slipper" is my favorite but they have several others to choose from. Their system for carrying the unit on your belt is the best, and the safest, in the industry.

I found a case that might fit your slipper w/ closer bill. Its on the sonystyle web site and it looks pretty sturdy and it has extra pockets for cards and stuff. Best of all its sony!!
