I just purchased a NX70V with the PEGA-WL100 wireless card. I have numerous wireless laptops that I use for demo's with each other as well as a Compaq iPAQ. I have tried to get this device configured properly, but am having zero luck.

I can't even ping the NX70V. I have set it up for Adhoc with the same channel and SSID as the other devices. The other devices can ping each other without problem. None of them can ping the Sony.

I have a demo on Monday and would like to demo this device. Any ideas why I can't connect? I am not using WEP on any of the devices.

Thanks,
Brian

Browe,
I just read your post today, so this may be late . . .

My settings for any Wireless Connections goes as thus:

1. Profile Name (can be anything)
2. Network ID (SSID): I set this to: Any
3. WEP: None
4. Connection: Infrastructure
(advanced Setup)
5. IP Address: Check Auto
6. DNS: Check Auto
7. Power Save: Check Enable

I've found that my problems in getting connections were under the naming of the SSID. If you set it to: Any , then that *usually* fixes the problem. The next problem would be setting it to Infrastructure, instead of a particular channel.

The problem is I am not using an access point. I am trying to go adhoc (or peer-to-peer).
