I visited a Clie site in Japan that depicts a grey (very sharp) Clie in a ballistic nylon case equipped with the Sony WiFi card and what looks like a Magic Stick Bluetooth device. I was wondering if this might be a configuration whereby the Clie can access files on an much larger external "hard drive" via a Bluetooth connection. If anyone has any knowledge of such a product (or could interpret the Japanese site) I'd be real interested knowing about it. I could start leaving the laptop at home!

Hey JNA,
Can you post the web site for me? I've looked around on a few Japanese web sites, but I can't find what you're asking about.

I currently have the 802.11 card and the Bluetooth stick working on my Clié NX70V. I have not heard of connecting to a 'Larger Hard Drive' through it though.

I had been interested in connecting to my TiBook via the Bluetooth USB adapter and the Clié but have been unsuccessful so far.

But, again. Post the web site and I'll see what it says!

The link below goes to the page, you need to scroll down to the Porter mention and the black case.

I believe it's just an ad for a new NX case. Wish there was such a thing as a Bluetooth HDD.......

They are just talking about this "pouch" protector thing that you can put
your Clie in.

Doesn't look as interesting as some of the other sites that offer Clié holders.
