Palm OS5

Does anyone know when any downloads will be available for the new Palm OS5? I just got the new Clie NX70V with the new palm 5 operating system but I can't find any 3rd party software to downoad.:confused:

most applications for the old operating systems are either already compatible or already made compatible with OS 5. You don't need to wait for any new software to come out.

lots of os5 software. msot of mine has been updated. jsut waiting for palm reader pro and backupbuddy.

I am using the latest Palm Reader Pro ver 2.0.26 on my NX70V and it supports OS5. Works full screen and looks great.

it charses on me when I exit it. if I am using launncher x it does it right away if I am not using it it will do it later on anotehr app when I try to open it or try to hotsync. every time.

Don't know what to tell you except that I am using Launcher X ver 1.0.2 and Palm Reader Pro ver 2.0.26 and they work fine together with no crashes for me on my NX70V.

regarding Launcher X: go to www.palmgear.com and search for 'lubak'; he's a guy who creates new skins for launcher x, and just came up with one for the hi res+ clies ... you can download it from there for free.

Also, search palmgear for "os5" and you'll find a bunch of s/w (including the teriffic Datebk5)

If you follow down the list. The next set of software is for translation languages. Presumably having won your game of strip poker you may wish to talk to your chosen girl:p
