NX70V and HotSync??!?

Hi,

I've just recently bought Sony clie NX70V. I followed the instructions to install it and everything went smoothly until I tried to HotSync it. It doesn't work! The pda will show an error msg while on the computer side, I've noticed that in device manager there's an unknown device at USB (without any warning sign). Is it possible that the usb driver supplied is incompatible? I've tried all the possible diagnostic from the manual but to no avail! Kinda frustrating isnt' it?

Hiya everyone,

Nevermind. Just found a good solution to it. For any users with this problem, just uninstall ALL your USB drivers. Then perform a HotSync with your NX70V. Since the USB driver is uninstalled, quickly add a new hardware and let Windows XP autodetect while the HotSync is still going on. The Win XP will detect the USB drivers along side with the necessary drivers for your NX70V.

That's all... hope that helps anyone out there. :)
