I am having some difficulties using the CLIE Viewer. When I launch the program (or any other program that uses it), it proceeds to give me a thumbnail pic of every picture on my MS. I have LOTS and it takes over 5 minutes to read them all. Sometimes, it crashes the system.
Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to fix or defeat it?
Thanks!

Yep, it's slow and crappy. Try AcidImage from http://www.redmercury.com it is very fast.

That's an excellent program to view the pics. THANK YOU!
But what about if i want to email pics to people. Won't I still have to use CLIE VIEWER? Or make an album of pics to show folks? Or all the other things I SHOULD be able to do?
It is such a pain in the butt!

To move graphics/movies to the pda, I believe is using the Image Converter. The previous message regarding movies being moved to the pda was right on the money, and the image converter also handles graphic files in several formats. I have not however used the program without access to my memory stick as a removable drive. (sandisk usb MS reader) I add files to the list in image converter and pick the drive letter for my memory stick to export to. It even put the graphics into the proper directories for viewing and for the movies, created the .MAI first image and info for the movie to be used by the movie player file menu.

As a tech I carry about 200 jpegs of circuit boards I work on. The easiest program to get the larger images to a Clie NX size is using Splash photo's desktop software. Very easy and fast.
Then once they're on my Clie I use Acid image for viewing. I can also beam the pics to my other techs if need be.
Just the way I do it...Serena
