Hello,

I am getting ready to move from a Handera TRGpro to a Sony Clie N710C. I use ACT! as a contact manager and use CompanionLink as a conduit between ACT! and the TRGpro.

I am wondering if anyone knows of any problems I might run into moving data from one PDA to the other and general tips on making the transition.

Thanks in advance for any help!

You will love your new Sony. I made the jump almost a year ago and will never look at another device. I run ACT with my Clie and have had no real problems to speak of. The only weird thing that occurs is an missing note every now and again. However I am new to the ACT software and will be taking a course within the next month or so. The thing I love is not having to lug my laptop around from customer to customer. I can keep all my contacts, notes etc on my clie and then sync with my laptop at the end of the day. It's very very handy.

Stumper,

Thanks for the input. Also, since you are an ACT! user, you should look into CompanionLink as a sync conduit. It makes for a faster synchronization and allows you to do some other pretty nice things like bring a defined number of histories and notes over to the PDA.
