GPS recommendations

I am looking for a talking GPS for my wife's PEG-NZ90.

Does anyone have a recommendation?
Or models/manufacturers to "stay away from"?

Key features are:
Ease of use
Not complex installation

Optional features:
Ability to connect to laptop to show larger maps
