SONY acts like they do not even know what a NZ90 is. cerberus 05-06-2003, 10:36 AM WOW! That's a very helpful and informative post! With such great information, I'm sure someone will never be able to figure out what is wrong with your Clie Mail. Seriously, if you need someone to help, we need some info like error messages, or warnings or something. I can see why Sony couldn't help you...... I'd also suggest going over to Cliesource.com for more help. This board has all but died. thwim 05-06-2003, 07:00 PM No need to get nasty I was trying to post a reply to a message not put in my own post. Anyway with a mouth like that you should be able to help. The CLIE mail will not work with my email program (when I hotsync) which is Outlook Express. With all the settings set up by talking to Sony on the phone heres what happens. When I hotsync the Clie mail reports that it synced but it never goes to Outlook express to send an email or to recieve one. I have not been able to find a good answere at Sony or at Cliesource. Thanks in advance. cerberus 05-07-2003, 12:32 AM 1. Check to make sure your Clie Mail conduit is set to synchronize. 2. Make sure in the Clie Mail app, that you have the correct options set. You want to retrieve all mail, not just unread messages. 3. You will know if the Clie is trying to send an email because you will get a message from Windows stating that an external program is trying to send mail and asking if you want it to continue(Well, this is what happens with WinXP). I used Clie mail with my NR70 and with my NX70 and had no problems. I did however, switch over to Snappermail since it handles attachments a little better. I'll look back at my settings and see if there is anything I may have forgotten. Hope this helps..... cerberus 05-07-2003, 12:46 AM A few more things I have thought of... 4. You need to have your email account setup in Clie Mail. It needs to have your POP3 and SMTP server information. Make sure you set it to yor default outgoing server if it's the account you want to send email through. 5. Outlook Express needs to be your default email and MAPI client. In OE, click Tools > Options. On the General tab, make sure it says at the bottom that OE is the default email application. PDA Street
