files won't convert to pocket pc format HELPP!!!!!

Let me set this up, I went to Options->rules->conversion settings in activesync and unchecked the box that said convert files when sychronized, copied or moved. The I found out that the files will not play when converted so I went back and checked the box. But now files are still not converting. Is there some other setting i need to adjust. I've been trying for days and i'm going nuts, someone please help

Hi, what kind of files are you trying to convert to and from?

video files. i used to be able to transfer them fine. It would convert it to the pocket pc format with no problems. Now, it just transfers the file without any conversion. I really appreciate any info. Thanks
