Hey, I'm a 14-year-old with a lot of money, but I have no experience in the art of buying pocketpcs. So here's my question: Which is the best PocketPC for it's price?
Also, I have a H3670 with a leaking screen (my dad broke it, and I got it from his trash can) so maybe I can fix it, but where?
Thx in advance!

If you have a lot of money why fix it...just buy another one.

Y'see thats what my first question was about. Which one should I get? WHat's the best one for it's price?
And more importantly, which one can surf the internet while on the road?

If it were my money I'd go for a 3970 - but it's your money and you've got lots of it !
so - Ipaq h5555
It's got bluetooth - good for you wireless networking etc...
Big memory - 128MB
SD slot for memory expansion
Takes expansion sleeves so you can buy loads more goodies
If you have any money left over - you can always send it to me :)

If you are after a device with the most bang for the buck, the 2210 or 2215 would definitely be worth considering. They have integrated Bluetooth, transflective screen, Pocket PC 2003, the same long range infrared port as the 3970, both CF and SD slots built in, removeable battery pack, built-in backup battery, and a compact size that rivals the smallest Palm OS handhelds. The price is reasonable too. There is no need to purchase an expansion sleeve if you want to add a CF wireless LAN card.

I agree with the 2210 post above... I have one after having a 3630 and a 3950. The 2210 is by far the best iPAQ available "for the money"... IMHO

I think my 2215 is better than my 3955. No clunky sleeves to deal with.

I got a 2215 and it's great! Thank you all for giving me tips.
ps. My big brother has seen my new pocketpc and has been extremely jealous of it. His birthday is coming closer (september 21) and I wanted to get something like it for him. Unfortunately, I dont have much money left ;( ... my point: anyone know where I can get like a used pocketpc with color screen for under 100 bucks? or maybe do any of you have an old one you dont use anymore...? (I'd be willing to pay you)

Either have PPC techs fix that screen or go with the 2215 or the 5550, I would suggest the 5550 unit. I remember those days of old where all my money went to gadgets, before long term relationships, marriage and a child. Now only some of my money can go towards gadgets.

Yeah I got a 2215. But where can I fix the screen on my old one? If i can fix it for like 200, and sell it for 500... hmmmm
Anyone know where I can get my broken screen fixed? My screen seems to be leaking black stuff... the glass is just fine.
Thanks in advance

I am deciding upon a 3975, but it is a little expesive for the budget. Is there a cheaper version of it, like a 3875, without bluetooth or with less memory, or both? How cheaper will it be money wise?

I don't know the exact price, but I do know there is a lower end model in the 3900 series. The 3950 or 3955 has almost the same features as the 3975, but with less rom and no bluetooth.
Personally, I think the new 2210 and 2215 devices are the best valued devices on the market right now. Good luck on your decision.

Really? I'll check em out. I am also looking at the Zire 71, because of it's camera, 5.2 Palm OS, and voice memo. Any thoughts?

The Zire 71 is pretty nice with its built in camera. However, it does not include Documents to Go so you would have to purchase additional software to view office docs. The Tungsten T2 is a nice machine. It has 32MB of ram, compared with the 16MB on the Zire 71.
Pocket PCs come with 64MB and usually have both SD and CF slots, which means you have more flexibility on expansion. If you want the camera function, you can plug in a CF camera card. One advantage to this is that you can upgrade the camera later on when the technology improves.
You will have to decide which device fits your needs. Good luck!

I second the 2215.
