I have a hp5455, i heard there is upgrade software that came out when the newer model did, could I download this from somewhere? thanks!

If you mean an upgrade to Pocket PC 2003, it's hasn't come out yet and it's not free, you have to order a cd from HP, depending on when you purchased your ipaq, you have to pay at least shipping charge.
