I installed some programmes, after which my "contacts" disappeared.

i HAVE UNINSTALLED all the new programmes, but I still cannot access my "Contacts" in Outlook, except through the FIND feature.

When I use the FIND function, I can find all the addresses that were there, but when I select "Contacts" from the drop-down/start menu, nothing happens. Same when I select New, and Contact, nothing happens; so I can't enter a new contact.

Obviously the programme and the data are there, but why I can't access via the main menu, only through FIND?

I'm feeling you man. I came to this forum because the same thing happened to me. I went to get a clients #, and to my surprise I had no contacts. I tried to use the find feature and that did not work.

This happened to me once a few months ago, I dont remember how I recovered them from the first mishap. I do remember backing up my pda, which is on a set schedule, so that might have helped me out. I'm looking into it so has soon as I come across something I will let you know.

Tks 4 the response.

Difference between your situation & mine is that my "Find" feature is working, and all my contacts are there.

I am thinking of doing a hard reset; dies anyone have advice on this?

I need to get my Contacts back and working as before, so I can enter new contacts.

Help!!!

I restored my contacts. If you backed up your ipaq you should navigate to the restore section and tap on restore, then you will be promted to do a soft reset.
