Here is my problem: I installed a game called 9-ball to my z71 and later decided to remove it. I use FileZ to do that, I did delete one file(forgot the name), but I cann't delete another file called "9-Ball_NINE_appl_a68k", I got this error "An error prevented the file from being deleted".
Anyone has this similiar problem when you try to remove somthing from your z71? thanks a lot!

Yes this does seem to happen sometimes doesn't it? My experience is that there seems to be a greater probability of it happening if you exit the program in some awkward or unstable state.
I usually reinstall the program, and after running it once, I proceed uninstalling it using Inwatch or Uninstall Manager.
Sometimes though, deleting works if you leave the faulty file for a few hours and uninstall later on.
I think the best thing to do would be to never uninstall programs by deleting files via a file manager. If you don't want to spend on an uninstall program, use the built-in OS delete function, then (and only then) delete the a68k file.

Reinstall and delete via the Palm OS menu will solve the problem.

this happens all the time when you delete a program almost any program
I have found that after you delete a program if there are files left behind that you can't delete just do a soft reset then you can easily delete these orphan files with your file manager

just an update, I reinstalled the 9-ball and used palm delete function to remove it, but the stupid orphan file is still there!!
But the soft reset trick does work. Thanks a lot!!

Try (CAREFULLY!) ZarfCatalog (www.freewarepalm.com, etc.) It is good at removing stubborn files.
Note, however, that there are a couple files that you cannot seem to erase period. One is TattooArtist, for example. I have erased EVERYTHING and started over only to have this thing pop back up upon the first hot sync.
I did a Google search for it and it seems that it is somehow needed by the OS or something.
