My iQue 3600 is shipping today and I hope to have it for my trip on Monday. I think I'll bring my laptop-based GPS unit and compare their performance on the trip.
Has anyone tried loading third-party mapping programs into their device and had any luck with them? I have most of our 700 acres plotted with GPS using another program and don't really want to start all over again. I realize this will defeat the Que technology (if Picard could have only known...)

Someone over at the iQue forum at PIC posted (http://www.palminfocenter.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=15660):
I have asked both Maptech and Fugawi this question.
Maptech has a new program "Outdoor Navigator" for Palm, that will work with the iQUE. Fugawi 3.0 will also work.

I got my 3600 today and I couldn't wait to get home and play with it. I had my wife charge it up for me until I could play with it. It is so fast!!!
I tried to use Delorme Solus 3 on my 3600 to access my previous routes and maps with no luck. It loaded fine, however, all I get when I try to set up the GPS are error messages. I plan to contact Delorme when I get back next week.

I already have alot of Delorme mapping software including x-map and 3D topo-quads. I hope this thing will be usable with Delorme stuff.
