Outlook error 80004005

I use Active Sync 3.7 and Outlook 2002. I just got a 2215.
When I try to sysnc... I get 56 unresolved items..... When I try to resolve these items... I get...' the following appointment cannot be written to Microsoft Outlook because of error 80004005. "
I get 56 of these error message....

How do I resolve this error?

If a reconnection has not already fixed them, try deleting the partnership from ActiveSync on your desktop and then recreating it. Sometimes that helps. Otherwise, there is an application on your PC that can repair your outlook.pst file (I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me...) that you may have to run to fix some Outlook corruption.


(Just remembered that it is called SCANPST.EXE - search for it on your hard disk if the partnership recreation does not work...)
