Can I plug it in to 220 Volts? It says on the charger: "100 - 240 V" ... Should I trust this? Or will I blow up my brand new gadget?
Thanks again,
Liza

As long as the converter reads "110-240" or similar it should work just fine. have fun! rikmac 08-02-2003, 08:22 PM Have fun using your iPAQ in Europe. I go over once a month and never have had a problem. The only thing you may need to get is the correct adapter for the plug. Do not confuse adapter for transformer. An adapter just converts the style of the plug a transform converts the type of power. You need the adapter.. Rikmac lizamay 08-02-2003, 11:36 PM Hey Rikmac, Thanks for the help. Yeah, it took me a couple of confused days until I figured out the difference between those two things. I WISH I had found YOU first, and this nice clear explanation. There really is no difficult concept here - I don't know why it took me several days to get it straightened out. (lol lol) Anyway, thanks for the explanation. I WILL have fun in France. I plan to! And if you have any more great tips about "staying wired" over there, you can reach me privately (since it's off-topic for this forum) at: lizamay@comcast.net. Thanks for the help! Liza PDA Street
