active sync issues

hey all,

I have had an ipaq 3650 and an older computer with windows 98. I have gone a whole year being able to use active sync normally. All of a sudden, active sync claims no device is detected and I can't connect the ipaq to my desktop pc. The frustrating thing is that it works intermittently. Sometimes it connects, but the next day it acts up again.

Does anyone have any idea or website I need to go to? I have an idea that the problem lies in my USB drivers, but I'm really not sure.

Try rebooting your computer and then do the sync

I used the advice to reinstall internet explorer. Don't ask me why, but everything is working now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
