Hello all. Since installing a Lexar 128mb SD card I find my 3955 freezes overnight and I often need to do a soft reboot to get it working again. The soft boot always works, but I'm wondering why the change. Any ideas? Thanks.
try reformatting the card

Hope the reformatting worked but I am about to buy a 128mb SD card for ipaq 3950 and have been advised that some cards are far superior/reliable to others. On the other hand I have also been told that SD cards are made only by one or two manufacturers and just badged as appropriate so one is as good as another. Anyone know which is correct??:confused
have heard that some people have had bad luck with Sansdisk cards, I've gotten Lexar & Panasonic & have had no problems with them. not sure about the rebadging of them though
To all: Thanks a lot for all your replies. AMD, there weren't any instructions with the card when I bought it, and I don't have a clue how to reformat the card. Can you or anyone tell me how to do it? Thank you. Lynn

Ive' been using a SanDisk 128MB card for several months now and have not had any problems.
I used it in my 3955 and now in my 2215
zach-2, thanks for the post. I checked with this forum earlier and was told that Lexar had a good track record (even though I had already purchased it). The only problem is having to do a soft reset each morning to get my 3955 running. It seems to freeze when midnight rolls around when my Ipaq fires up and alerts me to 'todays' appointments and tasks. Before I can access them, I have to do a soft reset. I'm hoping someone can help me reformat the card. Thanks, Lynn.

AZO,
have a look at this handango site.
You can download a trial version which will allow you to format your card.

Hope this helps.
If you can't use the above go to handango and search for storagetools - all one word.
