I just bought a Netgear network card and the expansion pack needed to put on an Ipaq 3950. I have no been able to configure my connections so that I can browse the internet with this card. The card shows that it is working and I pinged my desktop computer and it does reply so I know that the card configuration is ok just I dont know how to set up my connection so that I browse the net. When I go to connect to the internet it comes up with the connection settings but those settings are for dial-up. What am I doing wrong???

Go to Connections and make sure that it's set up so that "My Network Card" is set to connect to "The Internet."
I use a Netgear MA701 with my 3855 and it works great. But unless you've set Connections as above, it won't work at all.

Thats exactly my problem. In my connections windows right now the only two options I have is internet and work settings. How do I configure a new setting so that it recognizes my network card???

Please go to;

SETTINGS
CONNECTIONS
CONNECTIONS
Here you should have three icons. The third one should say - "Mu network card connects to:" and you can chose "The Internet" from the pull-down.
What do you see?
