ipaq 3950 upgrade to ppc 2003

Hi there
I have an opportunity to upgrade from ppc2002 to ppc2003 on my ipaq 3950 for about $20. Does anyone out there know the pros and cons of this upgrade or the bottom line "is it really worth upgrading". At the moment I do not have any third party software so I will not be losing out on anything not compatable.

I've had PPC 2002 on my Ipaq 3955 since I bought it seven months ago. While the ppc OS can be aggravating at times, from what I've read '03 isn't salvation for me. I don't use wireless technology or do much messaging and don't care what color the weekends now appear in the calendar program. I primarily use the calendar/alarm/tasks features or compose reports on TextMaker while in the field to import into my office or home computer later. Avantgo is good enough for news updates when I have a spare moment and works just fine with PPC 2002; I can get up to the minute information off TV at home or music on the radio in my car. I really do appreciate my PDA, mostly for what it can do FOR me, but I can entertain myself without Microsoft's or Palm's help.

Bottom line? It's up to you and your needs. I'd spend that twenty dollars on dinner with a friend.
