Hello,
I plan to buy an Ipaq 2210 (I'm actually working with a Jornada 720)
Could you give me your comments about this device ?
Is it a good buy ?
Thanks for your help

& I am going nuts waiting for it. I bought mine at www.newegg.com for $367.00. I work for HP and they were only selling it to their employees for a mere $7 dollars less than what I got it for at www.newegg.com. I went with them for they are easy, reliable, and have a great reputation.
Where I work there is a guy, his job is to order the latest and greatest Ipaq's, test them, play with them, and decide would they be beneficial for the company. He is the one that recommended I get the Ipaq 2215.
Just to save you some reading: there is NO difference between the 2215 & 2210!

I've had a 2215 for a week now, and am very impressed with it. reasons why:
* Flawless ActiveSync integration with Outlook
* Fantastic Nevo remote control for my Home Theater
* Perfect as a mobile music player (note I don't say MP3 player, as you can use WMAs for half the storage space). You can go jogging with it no problem
* Hand recognition software functionality is very well conceived. You have to write carefully, and get used to how the software picks up letters, but after that, it is a valid form of note taking
* Having both SD and CF slots mean you can have your extra memory in the SD and have the CF slot for something different.
* To my eye it's the prettiest PDA out there and just the right size for a shirt pocket.
* So long as you are prudent with the battery saving function, there should be no problem using this most a day away from the charger.
Issues:
* Have had no reason to use bluetooth yet, and I paid the extra for it. No doubt something genuinely useful will come along. Any suggestions welcome.
* Standard File Manager is c**p. I downloaded the freeware Total Commander which is worth the space in the RAM.
Very happy - go buy it.
