HELP! VELO 1 is out to get me!

I recently got a Velo 1,but it just won't conect to my main computer(windows 2000).It never came with any cd or floppy disc,all it came with was the docking station and the power adapter!Do i need any software or discs to transfer data or go on the net? If yes,is there someone who i can get this software off?

Some people may tell you to just grab sum flavour of activesync, and all your problems will disappear, but the velo1 is a pre-ActiveStink device. The software most likely to work in connecting to your desktop would be windows CE services 2.0 and I may even still have a copy somewhere. Post a reply if your interested and I'll look around. Secondly, if the WinCE Services is found and installed, the next trick is the proper configuration of the cerial port your docking station or sync cable connects to. Read any FAQs or texts included with CE services, and feel free to post any new questions that may arise.
