There is only software for update OS, but there is no files OS to update. Olivetti not published any OS files for DV1, DV2, DV4 (version 1.2, 1.5, 1.8 or any). Do not run this software, before you find files 3268DV1.BIN for DV1, 3268D24.BIN for DV2/DV4. OS from other models daVinci (DV3, original daVinci with Motorolla DragonBall EZ CPU) NOT COMPATIBLE with DV1/DV2/DV4 - very different hardware is used. Do not update your PDA with wrong version or type SW. Bootloader in PDA (first 16KB of Flash memory) is write protected, but OS may be erased after unsuccessfully update, and if you not find correct version, PDA will be unused very long time... - you will see only "System program error Please download!" message on PDA screen all time
