As expected Psion is soon to release the new netbook pro.
I am so glad i got rid of the old box just in time( I think most of us did so as it was so obvious that every store was getting rid of it during the last months, only the blinds would not notice that this meant the end of it).
At least i know I have brought this issue a long time ago where unfortunately some of the forum's users offended me without any reasonable ground. (http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1708)
I even saw prices for that new netbook- http://www.vectra.sk/MANAZERSKE%204-2003.htm
I beleive that this is a bright move by Teklogiks and an amazing winning combination of the Netbook and Windows which will bring us the psioneers bak to the top edge of the handheld devices!
It seems that this brings up to end all the useless dreams of those of us who thought a business entity would make changes to its business plan just because some 1000 users out of the millions out there cannot live with that, I mean really come on guys...)
I cannot wait to get me a new one.....
AT LAST!!! WE LOVE YOU ALL PSION!!!

Hi!
The prizes are old because in Czech Republic the netbook was called netbook pro - look at the memory specs.

1. This is NOT the netBook Pro WinCE. There is no 32 M memory option for the new one. But, by all means, go ahead and buy it! It comes with an operating system called Symbian OS (a.k.a. EPOC)...
2. I do not think anyone here has offended you in any sort of way. People have been pointing out the much higher than acceptable number of of inaccuracies in your postings...combined with exaggerated slamming of anything EPOC/Symbian...which can be explained by your seemingly blind adoration of Windows. Even in point 1. above, you haven't actually checked your statements, but maybe in your eagerness to create a new casus belli, facts are of less importance to you.
This forum is one of the friendliest around where people are genuinely doing their best to help each other in various matters related to Psion and Symbian.
Your uncalled for and tedious Microsoft propaganda simply does not fit the scope and intent of this forum.

I did also originally reply to this post with my feelings about Golmert's return but then decided to delete it since it really added nothing of use apart from making me feel better and probably giving a few other people a good laugh.
Can't we have a Kill File here? ;)

Golmert - {sigh} I find your contributions tiresome and pointless, since you obviously haven't understood the situation regarding the netBook Pro on anything more than the most superficial level.

Again, you are all covering your eyes as if not want to live the reality.
i really respect your stikkiness to that piece of hardware, but I cannot understand when people stay in their 4 walls opinion and not open themselves to new innovations.
It is here guys, just around the corner and I am so glad!!!
At last all our wish list will come true, just imagine how lovely that would be.
If you want any support with the OS, just shout. I intend to open a new forum for that machine which I believe will be the most hot topic in the Handhelds arena for the next few months.
A combination of the exellent hardware thanks to Psion with the most advanced ever OS- Windows .NET is a brilliant business move from Teklogiks which will pay it self much more then keeping the old Netbook which in any way found its way out once Psion decided to stop manufacturing it.
So... see you here in the very very short future, when every body will be talking about the new amazing WINDOWS based Netbook to be released towards XMS most probably.
All the best!

Perhaps people are just resistant to using a Microsoft operating system. I realise that you are a total Microsoft fan-boy but not all of us are and not all of us want to run Microsoft operating systems on our PCs, PDAs, phones or other devices. That's not resisting change, that's just choosing to use something that is best for you.

Oh happy day!! Do you want to give us the URL for your site now or do we have to wait a bit longer?

On what do you base your claim that Windows .Net is the most advanced OS ever? I know many, many people who would disagree with you but please feel free to enlighten us all.
