Network Passthrough

Hey there,
I have been connecting my 3870 to my pc and trying to
access the web through it. Using 3.5. But it keeps giving
me the message on pocket interenet explorer that the web
page i am looking for can't be found. Yet i can view
webpages ok when connecting over a mobile pone. Have tried
changing the activesync passthrough oprtion to work and
internet but no joy.
Have also tried entering in the proxy server detials into
the work setting properties on the ipaq but still no luck.
Does any one know how to get this function working.
