Are those the tabs that break off? I have a M505 and it seems to have the same tabs.

These tabs are very similar to all of the Palm's with Universal Connectors - I've had an M505, M515, Tungsten T and Zire 71 and now the iQue without any problems.

If your contemplating or concerned - I wouldn't sync with the protective cover on the iQue. It may intefere with the normal sitting on the connector if you aren't careful in placing it.

I think that all of the cradles so far that have been damaged are more bending or damage to the connectors rather than the alignment tabs - but since I'm not having a problem with this issue - I really can't say. But I can guess!

I'm not having any problems placing my iQue in the cradle with the protective cover on. I basically just leave it on (the front) and slide the iQue down. Of course, I then have to flip the cover down to touch the desk before I can see the screen. This does cover the hotsync button on the cradle, but that's not an issue for me. I usually go to the hotsync app anyway before hotsyncing.

I definitely wouldn't try to flip the cover around back and then put it in the cradle. I'm sure that this would misalign stuff and probably lead to breaking something.

Have anyone attempted to sync with another cradle with a universal connector, such as a cradle from a Zire 71?
