Can images created elsewhere or included on converted word documents be displayed on the psion. Had one image in a science report show up that had been scanned into an asighnment! Very simple diagram though. No luck with simple publisher files though?

There is a freeware app called XnView that can convert image files into the format that can be read and displayed on an EPOC device. In other words, XnView on your desktop can read just abourt any graphic image format and convert it into the MBM format that is used on a Psion.
The website is here (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/pierre.g/index.html).
Basically if there is an image that I'd like to use on the Psion I save is as an MBM file, use PsiWin to copy it to the Psion, and then add it as an object from there. I do not do this very often, though.
What is great about XnView is there is a version for just about every platform (including Win9x, NT, Win2k, XP, Win 3.1, OS/2, Linux, BeOS, Atari) with the curious exception of the Macintosh.
There is also a Psion based application called nConvert which can convert graphic images to mbm format right on the device, but it is not freeware. To probably totally confuse you, this is not the same nConvert that is listed on XnView's website, but is here (http://www.neuon.com/apps/nconvert/).
I'm not sure about converted documents, though. I have never really tried using a converted document with graphic images in it.
