I need to know which is better a

used 3955 w/ keyboard and cf sleeve or a

new 5455 with nothing.

It depends; what do you want to do with it? Are your files sensitive enough that you would need fingerprint recognition to protect them? Do you NEED wireless/bluetooth connectivity?
If none of these apply, get the 3955; I'm very happy with mine.
