Reset performed when "Today" tab selected

Hi,

Does anyone know why my revo plus, sometimes flashes to the "about revo" screen, when I select the "today" view? It then goes to the "today" view but has also performed some kind of reset as the sound settings for key clicks always moves to loud (I always set it to off for my preferences).

I don't know why it should be spontaneously resetting when you select the 'Today' view but try performing a deliberate soft reset to see if that clears the problem.

IIRC, this is a known issue. It happened to me occasionally. I actually never used the Today view after I realized that it was a known bug.

I think if you search the archives of the old board you will see it mentioned.

I had the Today screen reset problem with my revo but never with a Mako. Perhaps the bug was fixed between ER5 builds. Have any Mako users encountered the bug?

Yes, mine was a Mako, and it happened a few times. I stopped using Today anyway (it had nothing to do with the resets; I just preferred the files view).

I have to admit it isn't a feature I used very much. I was probably condition to not using it after owning a revo for a year. Thereafter it was just a "Hey look what this can do!". Standard gasps of amazement from assembled party.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll just have to get on with using the Revo Plus with this fault.
