I have a DSL connection, can I use the cable link to connect to the Internet thru my computer?
If not, what's the purpose of the Direct Connection Option?

Stupid Question... There are no Stupid Questions, only Stupid Answers.
Yes, you want to use an application called MochaPPP - go to http://www.mochasoft.dk/f_view.html and click on the link for:
Mocha W32 PPP
under the list for Palm Pilot - yes, that's correct, the application you want for your Psion is in the Palm Pilot list and it works with the Psion too.
If you scroll towards the bottom of the Mocha W32 PPP details page, there is a link about configuring the Psion and right at the bottom is the download link.
This little application will let your Psion share the PC's internet connection (and it does use the Direct Connection in the Internet settings!)

I too use Mocha PPP and it's excellent. Make sure you check out the link that Mike has given you for configuring the Psion - it's a comprehensive step-by-step guide - and it's not complicated!
In use, I sometimes find it's a bit choosy about the order you do things, so if it doesn't connect at first, close the app down and start again.
For the benefit of anyone else reading this, you don't have to have a DSL connection to use MochaPPP - it works just fine with a normal dial-up modem.

Thank you!
Works like a charm!
I use the web browser that came with my Psion CD.
Is that enough or should I change to Opera?
Can I check my e-mail thru that connection.
I'm with Verizon and it look that I can't connect to the Mail Server.
(Connection Time Out).
Thanks!
