I have caused my malay book to crash by removing the batteries. Now it will not start up and displys the education book page only and will not go any further. Does anyone know how to reboot it?

You need a CF-Card with the OS.img for the mbook to kiss your mbook awake. Only the OS for the mbook will work, not the normal netBook OS.

You would be well advised to ensure you have a CR2032 backup-battery installed, so that removing the main battery (for a little while) will not cause problems.
