After having my G1000 for only 7 days I was holding it in the case and droped my stylus bent down to pick it up and the G1000 Slid Right Out of its case.
This Shabby peice of JUNK case the Sprint must have dicided over what the factory recommeded. Why do I say this well because if you look in the safety section of the manual you will see the FCC recommended ways to hold the phone and that the one way in witch I was holding it with the flap open make it very easy for the phone to slide out of the cases felt-like lined interior. In the manual you will se a picture of the unit inside the case with the flap open. If you look at the ear-peice you can see the case has a peice that clasps over the top of the phone to keep it from slidding out.
Sprint Got Greedy Opted for a cheaper case for this 650dallar phone WRONG!!!
Now they want replace it under warranty. My insurance fortunately covered it but is now canceled.
Sprint should replace this under warrantty IMO the phone fell 21/2 feet and laned on the antena and it broke the dispay everything else looke fine accept a couple scuffs and the dispay still worked with alot of damage to it though.(it was hard to read)
But I did drop it and I do see their point its just common sense to build something to hold the phone into the case.
