Dear reader,

As I found out, my Revo - has suffered from the known battery problem. Not knowing what exactly was the problem, I have executed some soft and hard resets, as described in the manual that was delivered with the machine.

So I didn't push the buttons for 15 secs (hard reset). After having done this the Revo still fainted directly after restarting it. Tried again and again, switching on and off and on...

On a certain point the Revo came back to life, however, it has remained in a coma.

I get the Revo-information screen, which states only REVO, thus without the usual further information. I can go to the system screen, settings etcetera.

But I cannot open Calender, Phone, Contacts etc.

My Revo states that the disk has been damaged (in Dutch "beschadigd"). Is this a real hardware problem?

My question is, how has this happened and is this fatal? More important: Is there a way to repair it?

If there is, I will execute the "freezer method" to resolve the battery problem.

Thank you for your help, in advance,

Kind regards,

Wim Lex (from the Netherlands)
