Upgrade data from a 3765 to a 3835.

Hey guys you dissappoint me. No one has or can answer my question....
How do I get my backedup 3765 info from my CF card to my new 3835. The card has 59 megs of data and programs....the 3835 is brand new.
Can't someone answer this delimma.

I asked someone who'd know and this is the answer.

"If the file on the CF card is a true backup done through
Windows CE V3.0 then all that's required is a restore
through Windows CE V3.0

Go to: START/programs/cf backup and select restore instead
of backup.

If you are referring to just plain old program files installed
on the CF card for the 3700 iPAQ then these will not work as
is on the 3800 ipaq. In most cases, you are missing some files
that were installed on the 3700 iPAQ. Install the programs
from the original PC installation all over again."

Thanks Scott.... That doesn't work.... First it is a 'full backup' of the 3765....about 59 megs worth.... programs and data files... but assembleb by the 3765 using the backup command.

When I go Start / Programs/ there is no CF backup...
However when I go Start/ Settings/ System. there is Backup Utility... Then I check Restore.... Open... Storage Card..... At this point Start should be highlighted.... but it isn't. Source reads None....Space Needed reads None...Space Avaliable reads...None...


What am I doing wrong... or what should I try....
