Hey everyone im NEW this looks like a decent forum
anyways i am getting a axim with the wifi and im looking into adding on the keyboard from dell the belkin one for 69 well work it i think. ive had a keyboard before and its like wow what would i do without it. anyways im a college student and ya idk its just gonna be kool having it lol im gonna also get a backpack that has speakers the new savier one and hook it up to my PPC :)

WHAT are the best programs to download?
come on tell me i know it may be alot to type but it will help me alot.

what are the best games and i hate spending money on software so whats the cheap way to go at it? if its illegal umm im not telling

i found a way to put full movies on my pocket pc its gonna be great:) im gonna get a 256 SD card i saw for 59.99 after rebates
for mp3 and movies

im gonna make another thread for another question cause i want to get students attention.

What do you mean you "found a way" to put movies onto the pocket pc? Did you get a media program or what? Just curious.

Do you have to use any mail-in rebates to get the SD card for 59.99? If so you are better off ordering from dell. Right now you can get 15% off software and Peripherals. The 256 mg Scandisk SD card is usually $66.95 then after 15% discount it is only $56.91 +$2.56 tax. Shipping is free. So it comes out to $59.47 and all rebates are instant and you pay nothing for shipping. To get this deal you have to buy though Dell Small Buisness on the website. Use your own name (or whatever you want) as the company name.

I would also recommend the ScanDisk 1gig Compact Flash card if you want a lot of storage space for movies. You can use the same discounts on this card which brings the price from $223.95 +tax +shipping to $198.93 shipped. Pretty nice deal for a gig of space on one little card.

Just an FYI, but I have heard a lot of reports about bad experiences with high MF SD cards from Sandisk in Dell Axims. I have had a Viking for 6 weeks and have never had a problem with it.

I have it, and it is absolutely wonderful. The right shift key is a bit small, but otherwise it is great. The only issue is that it is expensive - generally you can get it for $69 if you get it at the same time as the Axim, but they have been selling it for $99 separately. But for me - it was worth it even for that.

i use windows encoder for my movies i think its gonna work good i will see

I have both of the cards that I mentioned above (256mg scandisk SD and 1 gig scandisk CF) and both of them have worked amazingly for me. I have tried a few movies on the CF card and once in a while (about once per movie) the video slows down and pauses for a second while it loads and then picks back up. However i think that would be expected of any brand of card.

I also have a 64meg viking card and that one works really well to. I haven't had any problems with any of them, although i have only had the CF card and the viking for about a month now. I have been using the 256meg sd scandisk for about 6 months.

I have heard of problems with scandisks but have never experienced anything first hand... Everything good so far!
