File extention changed

Hi All......

I recently downloaded a file called Filename.prc and when I hot-synced it to my Z71 it changed to Filename.txt and when I tried to read it with PalmReader it contained a lot of HTML code, some text, but mostly code......did I do something wrong?.......is there another reader that will better read this type file?......

A lot of files 'open up' when synced/installed and change or turn into several files.

OR if it was a specifically formatted document, you'll need the correct reader to read it correctly (see www.memoware.com's help section for more on this topic).

It might help more if we knew what file you were working with, though.
